7 Days Samburu, Olpejeta, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara

This day shall be spent exploring this amazing game reserve, with morning and afternoon game drives. You may also opt for the cultural visits within the area. Samburu game reserve, rugged and remote hosts the special 5 – Gerenuk, Grevy Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich and other plain game.

It is home to the Samburu tribe who are also pastoralists. Ewaso Nyiro River which runs along the southern boundary is home to crocodile and hippo with the many animals visiting to drink water during the heat of the day.

After breakfast depart for the Olpejeta conservancy. Lunch at your lodge / camp.
After a short rest proceed on an afternoon game viewing drive at the conservancy with opportunities of seeing the Rhino and chimpanzee among other animals and bird species.

Drive to Lake Naivasha with a stop at Thomson falls. Lunch at your Lake Naivasha hotel. Afternoon explore Lake Naivasha wildlife on a 1-hour boat tour.

Spot the hippos that linger just at the surface of the water, and see some of the diverse birdlife; African fish eagles, lesser flamingos, African spoonbill, and little grebe are all common here. This shall be followed by a walking Safari at the crescent island.

Depart Lake Naivasha and drive to the Masai Mara game reserve regarded by many travelers as an essential stop on any tour of Africa. Arrival Masai Mara in time for lunch, after lunch embark on an afternoon Game drive until late evening.

Spend the day in Masai Mara, Kenya's most popular game reserve where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five - lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. Game viewing drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend entire day in the park, or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drive.

At an extra cost you may visit a local Masai village.
