Pick up from your Nairobi hotel / residence at 0800 hours and depart to Amboseli National Park. The park is located at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The glistening, snow-capped peaks of this majestic mountain create a breathtaking backdrop to the awe-inspiring wildlife encounters that await you. The name “Amboseli” derives from the Maasai language, signifying salty dust and it stands as one of Africa’s prime destinations for observing herds of elephants.
Other animals found include giraffes, lions, monkeys, zebras and hyenas with Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain providing a beautiful back drop.
We arrive around mid-day and freshen up, followed by lunch and a short rest. Later explore the Amboseli plains in an evening game drive at 1600 hours.
Dinner & Overnight at your Amboseli Lodge or Camp
You will have an early morning game drive in the morning before breakfast
Return back to the lodge for breakfast and later drive back to Nairobi.
